Ricco Bambino 2018 Refosco
This fun, naturally made, Refosco is a vibrant and expressive take on one of Northeastern Italy’s most intriguing indigenous varietals. Originally hailing from the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions, Refosco is known for its deep color, firm structure, and naturally high acidity. Ricco Bambino’s expression stays true to these roots while showcasing the unique terroir of the Okanagan Valley.

Intense, pure, highly defined. The first notes are bright ones, intriguingly vegetal, more floral than fruity. The sake calls for a moment of respiration to grow more complex through darker lower tones. White pepper - IWA’s aromatic signature - is clearly present. One is instantly struck by the impression of superlative balance and coherence. The weightlessness of the sake unfolds with great tonicity. All sensations seamlessly converge, drawn to a racy, tactile, intense, mouthwatering finish.

The nose opens with a welcoming intensity and delicious tones of almonds and cherries that develops into darker berries and pastries.
The palate is effervescent yet robust. Well-structured tannins flesh out the perfectly balanced acidity, with notes of grapefruit and apple, and ending with a lingering finish that will have you reaching for another glass.
Ferran 2019 Pessac-Leognan
Chateau Ferran is located in exceptional terroir, adjoining some of the most famous wines of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. The Château Ferran vineyard stretches over 18 hectares of vines planted on slightly gravelly Miocene limestone-clay ridges. The grape varieties here are 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. Fresh, full, and versatile; this red will not disappoint.
