Corralejo Anejo Tequila
$104.99Aged for 12 months in American, French and Mexican oak barrels. The charred barrels give the tequila a slightly smoky flavour. A truly balanced sipper.
Corralejo Tequila’s hacienda was founded in 1566 by the Spanish rulers and over the centuries has become privately owned by Mexican families. It is one of the oldest Tequilas produced in Mexico and the birthplace of Father Miguel Hidalgo who is recognized as one of the major contributing figures to Mexico’s Independence in 1821.
El Sagrado Blanco Tequila
$114.99El Sagrado blanco tequila is made with selected agave from the two most prestigious regions of the country, resulting in a robust and balanced tequila. The agave is cooked in a slow, controlled way in a special autoclave oven that separates the bitterness out of the agave, conserving only the best from the plant. Slow cool, fermentation, and native yeasts give the tequila a soft and floral nose, with a strong presence of the agave with hints of peppermint and mint. Lightly fruity on the palate and silky in texture. This smooth sipper is meant to be enjoyed on its own.
Madre Mezcal
$106.99Expect aromas of citrus, smoke, earth, and herbs. The balanced palate has flavours of agave, sage and white flowers. Medium-bodied and toasty with a warm spicy finish.
It’s said that some of the best mezcal in Oaxaca can be found in reused plastic bottles bought from Palenques on otherwise empty dirt roads. These are the dirt roads Madre’s founders set down when they met Jose, Madre’s original and current producer.
