$27.99This terrific Tuscan value comes from carefully selected grapes 400 metres above sea level on top of a limestone ridge adjacent to the ancient village of Montepulciano. The grapes are hand harvested and after a traditional vinification it spends 2 years in oak.
Aromatic, expressive and round, this vintage offers loads of Sangiovese character in a succulent, mid-weight style that will find plenty of admirers. The balance of the texture and freshness makes for a compelling Chianti to drink now and over the next few years. All and all, a terrific Tuscan value!
