Roally Vire-Clesse 2020
"The 2019 Viré-Clessé is a cuvée predesigned to be what you might call a consumer-friendly Mâconnais from less noble terroirs. I can see how the bouquet would instantly entrance the casual drinker with clean and pure red apple and lime cordial scents. The palate is rounded, not soft, but mouth-filling with lime and Clementine notes. Not long, but very drinkable."- Neal Martin, Vinous, 2021
Drouhin 2018 Puligny Montrachet 1Er
A beautiful harmony, a precious wine. The color is golden and bright. The complex aromas of Puligny-Montrachet: honey, honeysuckle, fresh almond, evolving towards notes of lightly grilled dried fruits and spices. On the palate, a beautiful balance between freshness and softness. A few notes of tannins give structure to the building. The length in the mouth is exceptional, all in finesse and floral notes.
Drouhin 2017 Chablis Gc Vaudesir
A rare wine, which is enjoyed on its own, as an aperitif. The color is of a crystalline purity, barely tinged with green. The nose reveals fresh aromas of flowers and fruits (lemon notes) with sometimes spicy notes of coriander. On the palate, an aromatic harmony that has elegance and character. The breadth of the Grand Cru and the iodized notes of the Kimmeridgian pebble. A remarkable persistence, long and complex.
Billaud-Simon Chablis Grand Cru Bougros 2021
The nose is greeted by an enticing bouquet of delicate white flowers, intertwined with subtle notes of citrus blossom and a hint of honeysuckle. Beneath this floral veil lies a mineral core, evocative of wet stones after a summer rain, complemented by whispers of flint and sea breeze, a signature of the Chablis terroir.
Bougros is located on the right bank of the Serein River, in the north west corner of the Grand Cru slope, which flows through the Chablis region. It has a remarkable south east exposure and the steepest slope of all the Chablis Grand Crus.
Billaud-Simon Grand Cru ‘Vaudesir’ 2021
The Billaud-Simon Grand Cru 'Vaudesir' 2021 presents a brilliant pale gold color, hinting at its elegance and complexity.
The palate is rich and full-bodied, yet beautifully balanced, with flavors of citrus zest, green apple, and white peach dancing across the taste buds. There's a pronounced minerality that adds depth and complexity to the wine, along with a refreshing acidity that provides structure and vibrancy. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a lasting impression of purity and finesse.
